 Our Church Council is the administrative and programmatic church body that helps to set the direction and monitors the health and vitality of our beloved church.

 We are made up of church leaders, staff and laity representing all administrative and program areas of the church.  We meet the third Tuesday every month at 7PM in the church parlor.  We strive to fulfill the vision of the church: To build a vibrant Christian community from the heart of Aurora.  Our Mission is : To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

 We are celebrating 150 years of successful ministry in Aurora.  Today, our ministry reaches beyond our locality and extends across the country and world.  We support local, US and world mission with direct program support and through the United Methodist Church.  We are proud to be a Rainbow Covenant Church through faithful support of these missions.  We have a long history of support and leadership within the larger worldwide United Methodist Church.
