Wesley United Methodist Church announces Concert Series
Wesley United Methodist Church is proud to offer the Aurora land
community a concert and culture series for 2010/2011. All events
will be held in our social hall on our newly renovated stage.
LOVE LETTERS A play by A.R. Gurney
Love Letters chronicles the story of two characters’ lives, charter members
of the privileged set – Melissa Gardner and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III -
and a 50-year relationship that spans second grade through the trauma
of adulthood, marriage, divorce and middle age, all in the evocative
epistolary form of written letters. Through the eyes of these two faulted
human beings, the author provides an insider’s view of a rigidly stratified
WASPish society defined by proper schools, parental expectations and
a benign paternalism toward those less fortunate.

Christmas Music Celebration
Seasonal music will be performed by a variety of musicians,
from a Jazz Trio to the Fox Valley Chorus followed by the
Wesley Choir and Wesley Sanctuary Bells. This enjoyable
evening will culminate in an audience particiapation sing-a-long .
