Daily Schedule

Within a two-hour school day the children participate in free play, group games, stories, music, circle time, and various self-expressive art activities.  The schedule is flexible, but based an a planned routine for the day.  Activities are planned around themes involving nature, seasons, families and other subjects of interest to preschool age children.

Hours

Our school session is from 9:00 am. to 11:00 am., Monday through Friday. 

Children arrive between 8:45am. and 9:00am.  All children should be in their classroom by 9:00 am.  If you prefer a three or four day schedule, the full tuition permits your choice of days.   Children are dismissed at 11:00 am and should be picked up between 11:00am. and 11:15 am.

Tuition, Fees and Entrance Requirements

Tuition:

Tuition is $150.00 per month.  Tuition is payable in advance and is due on the first of each month. 

Registration fee:

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $60.00. 

Activity Fee:

There is an additional, one-time fee (due in September) of $50.00 to cover accident insurance, and vision/hearing testing.

Entrance Requirements:

A recent (within 6 months) physical, including lead screening, TB screening and chicken pox immunization.  Children ages 3 (by September 1 and toilet trained), 4 and 5.  Children usually begin the program in September, however, late registrants may be enrolled when space is available.

2009-10 SCHOOL CALENDAR

We follow the West Side School District 129's holiday and vacation calendar plus 4 Teacher In-Service Days.  We will send reminders with information about closings.

During the winter months, in the event of severe weather, if School District 129 closes, our school will also be closed.
