Staff and Facility

Wesley Nursery School's staff and facility are licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services of the State of Illinois.  We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)  While education and skills of the staff are the required tools, the following characteristics of our staff are equally important:  humor, patience, flexibility, warmth, understanding, experience, friendliness and a love for helping young children learn.

Our class rooms are well-equipped and are staffed by two teachers in each room.  We provide a stimulating environment with age appropriate materials and learning situations.  The atmosphere of our school enables each child to work and create independently or within a group.  We have a fenced in outdoor playground area and a gymnasium for large motor development.

Board of Directors

Wesley Nursery School Board of Directors is composed of up to ten members.  The Board governs the operation of the school and establishes policies concerning school operation, tuition, registration fees, personnel salaries, budget, and any other areas necessary to the operation of the school in accordance with the school's stated goals and requirements for licensing and accreditation.
