MARCH TUITION IS DUE by Wed. MARCH 10^th

LIFETOUCH WILL BE HERE ON MONDAY, MARCH 8, 2010:                             

Spring Student photographs will be taken on Mon. March 8.  You will get a set of proofs that you can order from if you choose.  Each child will receive a class picture and a Child Safe ID for use during the summer. Please read and complete the flyer that came home last week.

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES:

Thank you to all of our parents who have taken time this week to meet with your child's teachers.

If your child is going to kindergarten next fall, you should have received a KINDERGARTEN KIT to use with your child during the summer.  Next fall, please let us know if the materials in the KIT were useful and let us know how your child is doing in Kindergarten.  Your feedback is appreciated and very important to us.  We use it to continue to grow and help prepare our students for the BIG SCHOOL!! 

If your child will be returning to Wesley Preschool next fall, please return the registration form that was given to you at your child's conference.   If you want to delay paying the registration fee until summer, just make a note on the registration form and I will send you a bill next June.   We appreciate knowing how many children are returning so our teachers can plan for next year.

FUNDRAISER FOR FALL SCHOLARSHIPS:

Materials were distributed at your Parent-Teacher Conference for our Spring Fundraiser.  All money raised will be used to provide partial scholarships for our school families who experience financial need during the  next school year.  This year we were able to help four families through our school scholarship fund and the Aurora Child Welfare Society provided funds for two more of our families.   Midland Fund Raiser has provided us with two catalogs, "Earth Day" and "A Colorful World".  We appreciate your help selling these items to your family and friends.  We feel it is important to be able to help families keep their children in school during a financial crisis.  Thank you for helping!   We will receive up to 50% of our sales.  

LIBRARY BOOKS: 

We have received Coupons from Colonial Café to reward the children who have read 1000 minutes with their parents this school year.  Keep reading!  The following children are receiving a coupon for an ICE CREAM SUNDAE FROM COLONIAL CAFÉ this week!

Thank you for keeping and turning in your Reading Logs each week.  A good guide to reading time with your child is 20 minutes a day.   Enjoy reading books with your child. 

SHARE YOUR SOLES!

We are still collecting gently used shoes for "Share Your Soles"!   The Allington Family (Ava      is in the Red Room) has been volunteering for this organization.  They have brought a large bin to collect your families gently used shoes.  Please check your closets and bring any shoes that are no longer being worn the time of your conference or any time next week. Your gently used shoes will help other families.  Thank you!!

Here is information that will help you understand what we strive for here at Wesley Nursery School.  This is Week 4.   I hope that you enjoy learning more about our classrooms and school!
