Who We Are: 
The Aurora United Methodist Cooperative Ministry Tema is a group of church leaders and clergy from the four United Methodist churches in Aurora; Bethany of Fox Valley, Fourth Street, First UMC and Wesley UMC.

Mission:

To develop a universal strategy to solve church problems in ministering to the poor, developing church leaders, revitalizing church growth and developing financial contingency plans.

History:

Our first meeting of the Aurora United Methodist Cooperative Ministry Team was held on November 16, 2008 and hosted by Bethany of Fox Valley United Methodist Church. 

The first meeting revealed our most serious issues at the different churches.  We realized early on that we shared many common problems.  

The Cooperative Team would rotate to the different churches quarterly, meeting on the fourth Sunday at 2:00 pm.  The Team would consist of leaders and clergy from the four Aurora Methodist Churches.  Kelly Tucck and Bill Frazier were nominated as co-chairs of the team.  Laurel Gilbert nominated as secretary.

The original meeting time was changed recently to accommodate First Church to 3:30 pm due to their late service ending at 3:00 pm.
