Juancho earned a graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Chicago Center for Family Health, an independent affiliate of the University of Chicago (2003), his Doctor of Philosophy in Ethics, Theology and Leadership from the Chicago Theological Seminary (1999) and his Master of Divinity (MDiv.) from Silliman University Divinity School in the Philippines and a Master of Theology from the Southeast Asia Graduate School of Theology based in Singapore.
In 1995 Juancho and his family emigrated to the United Sates and served for one year as a pastoral exchange clergy with the First Presbyterian Church of Corpus Christi, TX. Juancho is married to Digna S. Campaņano also an ordained clergy, now an elder of the Northern Illinois Conference of the United Methodist serving as Staff Chaplain/CPE Supervisor Candidate at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois. Juancho and Digna are blessed with two wonderful and smart daughters, Hesed Dianne is the oldest and a fresh year at the University of Chicago. Kharis Christi is the second one and is seventh grade.
Juancho brings to Wesley Church the gifts of teaching, preaching, counseling and pastoral care, leadership and church administration, and more. He is a team player and knows how to work with people of different social, racial and cultural backgrounds. Above all, Juancho loves God and the church and he is committed to show such love to everyone. His love for God is also shown in his commitment to inclusive theology, to justice and peacemaking ministries.
